Mon Vive Avec Tu
(My Life With You)
One day I held you oh so close,
closer than ever before.
We fell into each other's thoughts,
wondering what was in store.
While I was there and holding you tight,
and you holding me tightly too,
I knew with all of my heart and soul
that I was in love with you.
We talked for a while and exchanged a kiss,
and dwelt on our love for each other;
then openly spoke a solemn vow
to never leave one another.
We traveled the days with cloudless skies
discovering things we'd never known.
Others saw it in us too, and envied
how our love had grown.
Each moment together was so grand, we looked
forward to each blissful night.
With you in my arms and loving me
everything in my life was just right.
