The Landgar Mountains

The Landgar Mountains

Their height is unknown above the twilight town,
for their level crest has not been measured yet.
And though they can be seen for miles around,
only a few have seen their beauty I'll bet.

For these mountains appear not every day,
and to see them you must be in the right place.
Your mind must bend and be taken away,
to experience their grandeur and grace.

But surely you've passed these mountains before,
as they've been here since time began.
And just as the sea will race to the shore,
rest assured these mountains will appear once again.

I watch as the sun, in a most valiant try,
fights to keep its rays burning bright.
But the mountains have won and God from on High
makes peace and slowly brings in the night.
